Mt. Blue RSD Franklin County Adult Basic Education

with Liza Donald

This class is for young people, and old, I have been asked to help some children learn how to sew. Making Pillowcases is one of my favorite go-to gifts and it’s always a great way to freshen up any bedroom. But the last thing you want is your pillowcase to fray or come apart after multiple washings. This tutorial is ideal for making an UBER Professional looking pillowcase that will stand the test of time. The best part – NO Raw Edges anywhere! So enjoy this video – it’s super quick and chalked full of amazing information. I really think you’re going to enjoy learning the pillowcase technique plus you get to practice making a French Seam!  Ages from 10 and up For this project you will need: Fabric:  Body of the pillowcase: 24” x Width of Fabric (usually 40”-45”) Cuff of the pillowcase: 12” x Width of Fabric (usually 40”-45”) Accent trim of the pillowcase: 2” x Width of Fabric (usually 40”-45”) Supplies: rotary cutter+mat, rulers, pins, coordinating thread, sewing machine
