GARDEN TOMATO PRODUCTION

Come learn about growning tomatoes! Tomatoes are one of the most valuable and sought-after produce items in the garden. Th s course will be a basic overview of tomato production for small gardens to small farms and will cover topics such as: tomato varieties, cultivation, pruning and pest control. Students only need note taking items and the desire to grow good tomatoes!

BIRCH TREE WATERCOLOR - 1

Birch trees are the most rewarding and therefore fun trees to paint. You will explore birches in different seasons and settings. You will learn basic watercolor techniques while learning landscape color theory. The instructor will supply classroom watercolors to use, but, if you like, you are encouraged to bring your own materials.
Materials fee: $20 pay instructor at 1st class.

DRAWING, WATERCOLOR, AND OIL PAINTING

Drawing class includes: drawing, working with and without a grid, shading values, enlarging and reducing, observation of shapes and angles. Please bring drawing paper, pencils, eraser, ruler, stump or tortillion oil, and water colors. Students need to bring a small set of tube paint, a few brushes (large & small) and bristle brushes for oils, watercolor brushes should be for water-color painting and watercolor paper, canvas for oil painting and painting medium. Also, bring paper towels or paint rags for oil or watercolor.
