WOODWORKING

This class is designed for both beginners and or experienced woodworkers. The instructor will help students design projects and establish materials needed durig first class. Students will provide their own material (It can be delivered to the shop if needed) You will learn the safe and correct use of various wood working machines and accomplish a desired project.
BOOTCAMP FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN

Set up as an Early Education Prep class for people interested in working with children over the summer (Summer Camps or Recreation Programs) becoming Ed Tech 1's or work in the Early Education field, teaching, assisting, owning a daycare, before and after school care.
SUBSTITUTE TRAINING

Are you interested in becoming a substitute teacher/ ed tech in RSU 9? We are offering a 1 day sub training at the Adult Ed Learning Center. After your first workday, you will receive one days sub pay for completing the training
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

The 180 hour nursing assistant course is designed to prepare the student to be a nurses assistant. Call Adult Ed office for application 207-778-3460. There are registration requirments to be held on the waiting list.

CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL MEDICATION AIDE (CRMA)

This is a 40 hour course with 5 training sessions. The purpose of this course is to provide training for profesionals working in state certified residential care homes. Participants will learn safe medication administartion procedures, Vital signs, transcribing physicians orders, and how to doccument on a MAR (Medication Administration Record) Each participant will be required to complete a clinical Medication Administration in a licensed facility
