DRAWING, WATERCOLOR, AND OIL PAINTING

Drawing class includes: Drawing, working with and without a grid, shading values, enlarging and reducing, observation of shapes and angles. Please bring drawing paper, pencils, erasers, ruler, stump or tortillion oil, and water colors. Students need to bring a small set of tube paint, a few brushes (large and small and bristle brushes for oil) watercolor brushes should be for water-color painting and watercolor paper, canvas for oil painting. Please bring paper towel or paint rags for oil and watercolor 

ADVENTURES IN HANDBUILDING 101

Looking for something creative to do this spring? Interested in learning pottery? Come and create your own pottery mug in Adventures in Handbuilding 101. During this six week class you will learn how to take a lump of clay and create your own creative mug without using the potter’s wheel. We will be exploring how to design a mug along with various decorating techniques. No special skills or tools needed, closed toe shoes required.

De-stress with Art focuses on experimentation and creative discovery in a supportive and stress free environment. Join me in the studio as we explore mixed media techniques, play with color combinations, and create flower inspired collages to celebrate Spring. So set aside some time for yourself and join us as we engage in making stress free art!

We are a group of woodturning enthusiasts who love all things about the art of woodturning. Our Monthly meetings demonstrate woodturning, and or embellishing (carving, painting or pyrography). We are a group with various skill levels - from the beginner to professional. Our intent is to foster the advancement and education of woodturning through demonstrations. If you are looking to turn wood and need help in organizing how to go about it please come to a meeting, we are here to share our knowledge.

Birch trees are the most rewarding and therefore fun trees to paint. You will explore birches in different seasons and settings. You will learn basic watercolor technique. 

The instructor will provide watercolors to use but if you like, you are encouraged to bring your own materials
